Keeping pups and their people together

The Good Stay is our Non-Profit that keeps pups and their people together.

Sometimes, life changes in an instant — a stroke, a surgery, or a diagnosis can land someone in the hospital for weeks or months. And in those moments, the heartbreaking reality is that many people are forced to surrender their dogs to shelters simply because there’s no one to help.

Through our non-profit initiative, we provide free, temporary boarding to dogs whose owners are facing unexpected medical emergencies. At The Good Dog Club, we believe families should stay together.

Families in Crisis

When an owner faces a medical emergency, we step in.

Safe & Loving Care

Dogs receive temporary boarding, daily enrichment, and attention just like home.

Joyful Reunification

Once recovery is possible, pups return home to the families who love them most.

"When my dad had a stroke, we worried most about his dog. The Good Stay stepped in with safe, loving care, giving us peace of mind while Dad recovered. Knowing his best friend was waiting gave him strength, and their reunion was the brightest moment of his healing."

A Good Stay Success Story

"When our home flooded, we were forced to stay in a hotel for weeks. The Good Stay cared for Bruno during that time, giving him love and stability while we rebuilt. It was a true lifesaver knowing he was safe, happy, and waiting for us when we could finally come home."

A Good Stay Success Story

"When I had to undergo intense chemotherapy, the toll was heavy on both me and my wife. I was so relieved knowing my dog Jake was safe at The Good Stay. Their care gave us peace of mind and allowed us to focus fully on my treatment and recovery."

Our Goal: 10 Good Stays This Year

Every stay represents a family kept whole during a medical crisis. Whether it’s a parent in chemotherapy, a stroke survivor in rehab, or a family recovering from disaster, The Good Stay steps in so no one has to give up their dog.

Together, we can:

  • Provide safe, temporary boarding for 10 dogs this year
  • Keep families focused on recovery, not surrender
  • Grow a network of volunteers and partners who believe pets are family
